Province responds to World Environment and Ocean Days

Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a document instructing the response to the World Environment Day (June 5) and the World Ocean Day (June 8).

Accordingly, provincial People’s Committee has asked for sectors, departments and localities to concretize a dispatch of the Ministry of National Resources and Environment (MoNRE) on organizing activities in response to the World Environment and Ocean Days 2019, be proactive to organize the Action Month for the environment and practical activities in response to the World Environment and Ocean Days 2019 with the themes of “Air pollution” and “Gender and Oceans”, respectively…

Earlier, the MoNRE also required agencies, units to speed up dissemination of information about the Vietnam Sea and Island Week 2019, the World Ocean Day 2019, the national maritime economic development strategy by 2030 with a vision to 2045; focus on implementing the national Action Plan on air quality management to 2020 and vision to 2025, the “anti-plastic waste” movement…
