This is the result after five-year implementation of the province’s socio-economic development plan in the 2006 and 2010 period.

 

During the period, provincial People’s Committee approved its regional planning and construction planning for Di An and Thuan An urban areas, the detailed plan of 1/500 scale for the new urban area in the Binh Duong industry-service-urban complex; set up a master plan for the Binh Duong urban area till 2020 with a vision to 2030; adjusted a master plan for TDM town towards 2020; verified and approved the planning for the centers of the communes.

 

The whole province now has 112 residential area and housing projects with 6,253 ha in total. Of these, there are 28 projects basically completed, 38 under infrastructure construction and 46 under site clearance. The province’s housing area is 17.32sq.m per capita.
