Province’s Trade Union activities under survey

On May 29, a delegation of the Institute of Workers and Trade Unions under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) in collaboration with provincial Labor Union carried out a survey on the implementation of tasks and functions of trade union locals at Yazaki Eds Vietnam Company, Thien Nam Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, the Preventative Health Center under provincial Industrial Parks Management Board.

At the survey, the above units reported the delegation on practical deeds, good experience in trade union activities. They also proposed initiatives and solutions in order to better realize their functions in taking care of and protecting laborers’ legitimate rights and interests. After the survey, the delegation will organize a talk show on “Trade Union representing laborers, taking care of and protecting laborers’ legitimate rights and interests”.

The survey aims to help the VGCL research and compose a book on “Trade Union representing laborers, taking care of and protecting laborers’ legitimate rights and interests” towards concretizing contents of each trade union level.
