On the afternoon of October 11, provincial Businesswomen Association held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnam Entreprenuers’Day (October 13) and review its activities in 2016. Attending the event was Nguyen Thi Kinh Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council.
The association has spent more than VND2.1billion on social charity activities this year. Particularly, it built 9 houses of compassion worth VND334million; contributed VND400million to constructing bridges in the Mekong Delta provinces; took care of poor-but-excellent pupils, orphans and disabled people with a total expense of nearly VND700million…Its members also created jobs for nearly 7,000 laborers; paid VND130billion for State budget.
In 2017, the association will continue admitting another new members; call for members and donors to build 10 houses of compassion for needy families, 3 bridges in the Mekong Delta provinces; support women with difficult circumstances to rise up out of poverty…
