Provincial delegation visits, extends Tet greetings to officers, soldiers and people of Tho Chu island

During the journey of visiting and offering gifts to officers, soldiers and people of the Naval Region 5 on the occasion of the 2024 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, on January 16, provincial delegation, led by Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of provincial Military Command visited, encouraged and extended Tet greetings to officers, soldiers and people of Tho Chu island.

On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh sent Tet greetings to the officers, soldiers and people of Tho Chu island while encouraging them to keep their mind in work, protecting the sea and islands so that the people can feel secure in enjoying Tet. On this occasion, the delegation gave gifts for officers and soldiers of the Rada Station 610, Regiment 152, Border Guard Station 770, Coast Guard Station 4, Lighthouse Station, Engineer Brigade 25, Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Chau Tho commune, Tho Chau Primary and Secondary School.

Tho Chu archipelago is located in the southwest sea of ​​our country, about 100km northeast of Phu Quoc island, about 200km from Rach Gia city in the Mekong Delta of Kien Giang province, about 140km from Ca Mau cape, about 40 nautical miles southwest of the international maritime route.
