Provincial leader attends national great unity festival in Lai Thieu ward’s Cho quarter in Thuan An town

Early November 19, Lai Thieu ward’s Cho quarter in Thuan An town held the 2016 national great unity festival and marked the 86th founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front. Attending the event were Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, leaders of the town and the ward.

At the festival, the quarter reviewed the 86-year development of the Vietnam National United Front, reported the outcomes of the “All people unite to build cultural lifestyle in residential quarters” campaign in 2016 and defined tasks for 2017. As of late 2016, there were 93% of local households winning the “cultural” title.

Speaking at the festival, Mr.Liem wanted that all locals will further focus on production and business to enrich themselves, their families and the society; prevent social evils, negative actions…Provincial leaders and the local government will always create favorable conditions for locals to observe the law and do business legitimately…

On this occasion, the ward’s People’s Committee handed over a decision of recognition of the “cultural” title for households, honored 51 outstanding cultural households in 2016 and presented gifts to 8 poor households.
