Provincial leaders to receive Canadian Consul General

Morning Dec 7, at provincial Administrative center, Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with Richard Bale, Canadian Consul General in HCM City.

At the meeting, Richard Bale said when the TPP was signed, Vietnam’s position would be heightened and become the most beneficiary of TPP. After working with Becamex IDC, he found Binh Duong leaders had drawn up great and visionary strategies. Currently, the province has a long-term strategy to meet market requirements in the future. He asserted, Binh Duong province had great potentialities to attract Canadian investors in the future.

After briefing on the current socio-economic situation and Becamex IDC, which is the main unit contributing to the development of infrastructure, industrial parks, Binh Duong New City, and calling for foreign investments, Mr. Liem thanked Canadian Consul General for paying attention to Binh Duong province, and hoped Canadian Consul General would become a bridge to connect, invite Canadian businesses to Binh Duong province in the near future.
