Provincial leaders visit, give gifts to 100-year-old people

Early October 1st, a delegation of provincial leaders led by provincial People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Van Nhi visited, presented gifts to six 100-year-old people in TDM City.  Mr. Huynh Van Nhi congratulated and gave gift to 100-year-old Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Banh in Phu Tho ward, TDM CityAt visiting places, on behalf of the delegation, Mr.Nhi talked and congratulated graciously the elderly on living happily, healthily and being good example for their children.On this occasion, each old person were given 5 meters of silk from the President, and one gift, VND1mln of cash from provincial government. *On the morning of October 1st, provincial Elderly Association Chairman Tran Quang Bao, Department of Labor – War Invalids and Social Affairs Deputy Director Ninh Quoc Binh and representatives of agencies visited and offered gifts to 100-year-old people in Thuan An town and Di An town, including: elderly Nguyen Thi Lung in An Thanh ward, Thuan An town; elderly Phan Thi Dung in Binh Hoa quarter, Thuan An town; and old woman Nguyen Thi Kinh in Dong Hoa ward, Di An town. The delegation had a gracious conversation with old woman Phan Thi Dung in Binh Hoa ward, Thuan An town The delegation asked the elderly for information of their health and presented each person with 5 meters of silk worth VND400,000, an money amount of VND1mln and one gift worth VND300,000.* Also on October 1st, a delegation of the province and Tan Uyen district visited and gave presents to 4 people being 100 years old in Phu Chanh commune, Binh Minh, Uyen Hung town and Bach Dang commune. Provincial delegation congratulated elderly Ngo Van Boi (sitting) on his 100 years old On this occasion, the delegation congratulated the elderly on their longevity, gave gifts including milk, silk from the President plus VND1mln in cash for one gift.
