Late Dec.13, provincial vice-chairman Pham Hoang Ha had a meeting with the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Competition Control Department on preparation for implementing the Customer Protection Law, the customer protection work for 2011 and review the result of the customer protection work in 2010.

 

Provincial Standard and Customer Protection Association well realized the customer protection work in 2010. Particularly, the association focused on the education work to raise public awareness of the law; strengthened its capacity of protecting customers’ rights and interests; promoted the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign…, contributing to stabilizing market prices. The association also solved complaints from customers and made successful conciliation between customers and goods suppliers..., but it now faces a lot of difficulties on working budget…

 

Mr.Ha spoke highly of the association’s efforts in the customer protection work over the past time and suggested the association to continue well implementing its tasks in the coming time. Provincial People’s Committee will consider and give financial support for the association to raise the effectiveness of its activities.
