Provincial tourism to strengthen the state management on tourism

According to the plan, in 2016, the province's tourism will counsel PPC to adjust Binh Duong province tourism development planning by 2020 with a vision to 2030 to be in line with South Eastern region tourism development overall planning by 2020 with a vision to 2030, and South Eastern region and Southern key economic zone culture, family, sport and tourism development overall planning by 2020 with a vision to 2030. At the same time, the sector will implement a number of measures to develop tourism and strengthen the state management of relevant units and localities on tourism.

The industry will also organize professional training courses in hotel – motel management in 2016 for tourist accommodation business owners, hotel and motel managers in the province; compile and reprint tourist publications and maps for tourism promotion activities, domestic and international tourists.

In 2015, the province developed 37 more tourist accommodation businesses with 799 rooms and a total registered capital of 122.27 billion VND, and 9 travel businesses. Total tourist arrival to the province was 4.2 million, including 4 million domestic visitors and 200,000 international visitors; tourism revenue reached 1.120 billion VND.
