Provincial People’s Committee issued Document No 2762/UBND-KTN regarding reinforcement of rabies prevention on animal. Accordingly, Agriculture and Rural Development Department is delegated to directly check the number and the result of rabies vaccination of kept dogs, cats in the province. The Department will also organize additional vaccination to ensure 80% of total pet are vaccinated; intensify monitoring to detect early rabies; reinforce control of transporting, trading dogs, cats.Mass media, localities also strengthen propaganda of dangers, preventing measures of rabies among people.Reported by T.Tam – Translated by Ngoc Huynh
