Study, creation and completion of scientific research theme are an interesting for students. However, most of them confuse with the work. The trouble was cleared at a seminar on scientific research held for students.   A student raises questions relating to scientific research.

For most of students, scientific research is only for excellent students. The thinking makes many students not to involve in the activity.

For many other students, after registering a theme and implementing part of a theme, they often fall in standstill. Pham Minh Thanh, a fourth-year student from Binh Duong University, said “When involving in scientific research, we often face difficulties such information collection, experience, idea development”.

According to Ph.D Tran Thi Kim Xuyen, vice chairwoman of Vietnam Sociological Association, scientific research has various levels and genres. Many theme genres will be applied into real life but others will only aim at thought and spiritual values. “Scientific research is not too difficult, provided that students grasp method, have idea and determination”.

Pham Thi Thanh, a fourth-year student from Binh Duong University, said “Involving in scientific research, I have started finding out interesting issues and I have experiences in working in groups and self-confidence in work”.
