Sculpture creating camp celebrating the 20th anniversary of provincial re-establishment to be organized

Morning Sep 7, a meeting to approve the organization plan for Art stone’s sculpture creating camp celebrating the 20^th anniversary of provincial re-establishment and the 2^nd National Don ca tai tu Festival 2017 took place at provincial Party Committee. 

At the meeting, DSc. Huynh Ngoc Dang, Director of provincial Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, gave a brief report on time, venue, scale, organization form of Art stone’s sculpture creating camp and the 2^nd National Don ca tai tu Festival 2017. The camp will take place from Oct 2016 to Mar 2017 in the form of semi-centralized with the participation of about 50 prestigious sculptors in and outside the province. Each camper will send 4D photos and sketches of their work to the organizers. Then the organizers will select 30 outstanding works for exhibition at some locations in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of provincial NA’s delegation, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, asked the organizers to examine the quality of sketched works and select carefully outstanding works having glorify, promote values of traditional stone sculpture of the locality.
