Seminar on “Training farmers to become entrepreneurs”

Morning Oct 18, provincial Farmers’ Association in collaboration with Binh Duong Newspaper and BiO – Nano research sub-institute (HCMC) hosted a seminar on “Training farmers to become entrepreneurs” with agricultural high-tech applications at Binh Duong Newspaper.

 

At the seminar

This was the 7th seminar held in the province in a series of activities to support farmers in business and production, contributing to implementing the national objective program on new rural construction in Binh Duong. Attending the seminar were Mr. Nguyen Quang Hiep, Chief Editor of Binh Duong Newspaper; Dr. Moc Que, President of BiO – Nano research sub-institute; representatives of all-level farmers associations, and more than 20 farm-holders in the province.

At the seminar, Dr. Moc Que shared many contents on the theme "Training farmers to become entrepreneurs" with application of high-tech agriculture; especially, sharing necessary skills for farmers to apply maximally science - technology for agricultural development in the direction of high-tech agriculture by 5 resources: will power, mental power, financial and material resources, and external resources.

The ultimate goal of the project was to deploy 10 online dialogues on this topic; set up 10 effective models for expansion across the province, creating sustainable, stable foundation for farmer’s entrepreneurship.
