Tan Uyen strives to be recognized as a third-class city in late 2018

The Executive Board of the 11^th Tan Uyen town’s Party Committee has just held its 12^th session with focus on reviewing the local socio-economic development, national defence-security in the first half of 2018 and orientations for the rest of the year.

Over the past five years, the town’s Party Standing Committee directed the implementation of central and provincial policies in a synchronous way in line with the local situation to promote production and improve the investment climate. The town also attached special importance to urban rejuvenation, carried out main works, reached and exceeded the set targets on economic development with social welfare ensured, maintained the local political security, social safety and order. The town’s public relations work was also implemented in accordance with the Party and State’s guidelines, policies, contributing to promoting locals to take part in patriotic emulation movements and build civilized lifestyle.

To victoriously realize the Resolution of 2018, the town’s Party Committee has defined some issues that need to be implemented for the remaining 6 months of the year, including further implementing 4 breakthrough programs of provincial Party Committee; realizing central and provincial policies in a synchronous way in line with the local situation to promote production and improve the investment climate; making civilized and modern urban rejuvenation, submit documents recognizing Tan Uyen as a third-class city by the end of 2018 to the Ministry of Construction…
