Tan Uyen, Thuan An pay gift visits to policy beneficiary families

*100 Tet gifts given for the poor

On February 9, leaders of Tan Uyen town held 6 delegations to visit and present gifts to the local heroic Vietnamese mothers and policy beneficiaries.

In the visiting places, the delegations extended best regards to heroic Vietnamese mothers and policy beneficiaries while presenting 688 gifts worth more than VND825mln to them.

It is known that on the 2015 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, Tan Uyen town has donated VND6.472bln from the central and provincial State budget to the local social policy beneficiaries.

*The same day, Thuan An town’s Party Committee organized 3 delegations to visit 13 policy beneficiary families in An Thanh and Lai Thieu wards.

The delegations visited heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Dinh in Lai Thieu ward’s Binh Hoa quarter; the families of heroic Vietnamese mothers in Binh Hoa ward’s quarters of Dong Nhi, Binh Hoa, Hoa Long and Binh Duc 2.

In An Thanh ward’s Thanh Binh and Thanh Loi quarters, the delegations paid a visit to wounded soldiers, martyrs’ mothers and wives, policy beneficiary families’ relatives…

* Thuan An town’s Red Cross Society, on February 8, visited and gave Tet gifts for poor households.

Accordingly, the local Red Cross Society, its Volunteers’ Club and donors donated 100 gifts to needy households in Binh Nham and An Son wards, helping them enjoy a warmer Tet.

Each gift is worth more than VND40mln, including rice, sugar, seasoning powder, cooking oil and cash.
