Tan Uyen town launch environmental cleaning

On 9 Jun, at Culture - Sports Center of Thai Hoa ward, Tan Uyen town held a ceremony to launch a general environmental cleaning to respond to the World Environment Day (5 Jun). Attending the ceremony were more than 200 civil servants, union members, militia force, workers, students, and people.

To respond to the World Environment Day 2019 with the theme "Air pollution and our actions", at the ceremony, leaders of the town People's Committee called on individuals, organizations, and businesses to have practical actions, to join hands in solving environmental pollution issues.

On this occasion, People's Committee of Tan Uyen town offered 50 public garbage bins to Thai Hoa ward in order to create good habits and raise awareness of garbage disposal at right places. After the launching ceremony, more than 200 civil servants, union members, militia force, workers, students, and people divided into 14 groups, cleaned the surrounding environment, collect garbage, remove bushes, clear sewers...

On the same day, communes and wards in Tan Uyen town also carried out environmental cleaning activities.
