Binh Duong, October 2nd 2013The appeal from Chairman of Binh Duong province Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee to all provincial people for supporting flood victims Dear compatriots, comrades, officers and soldiers across the province!The Storm No. 10 (Tropical storm Wutip) with the wind power reaching level 10-12, wind gust of level 14 has landed at central provinces in Vietnam, caused serious damages to provinces: Quang Binh, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, in which Quang Binh suffers the most serious damage. This storm claimed a great number of lives, hundreds of injured people. Additionally, 300,000 houses collapsed, hundreds of houses were unroofed, thousands of hectares of rice, crops, hundreds of hectares of rubber tree were destroyed; infrastructure such as schools, hospitals, publics constructions, electricity wire of 500kv and 220 kv etc. were heavily damaged. Tens of thousands of people falling into difficult circumstances and need helps from compatriots, officers, soldiers throughout the country.Facing difficulties and misfortunes, leaders of the Party, Government, army force, Fatherland Front, agencies have cooperated, directed prevention and remedy for the aftermath of the storm. Especially, army forces, police, militia and young volunteers evacuated promptly, rescued lives and properties of people, manifesting love, caring to flood victims.
