The Traditional Marathon and Cau Mount Climbing Tournament 2024 – joyful startup of celebration of the 49th anniversary of Dau Tieng district liberation

On March 12 in Dau Tieng district, the 21st annual Marathon and Cau Mount Climbing Tournament 2024 takes place as a sports event to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Dau Tieng district (March 13, 1975 to March 13, 2024).

It is known that the annual event organized by the local authorities is to commemorate the Liberation Day of Dau Tieng district of March 13. This year's tournament will kick off at 6:00 on March 12 at the headquarters of Party Committee and People's Committee of Dau Tieng district. Immediately after that, athletes will compete through the most beautiful routes of the locality. The closing ceremony of the tournament will be held at the foot of Cau Mount of Dinh Thanh commune.

In addition to the traditional Vietnamese mountain climbing competition at Cau Mount in Dau Tieng district also simultaneously launched the "Olympic Running Movement for the Health of the People" initiated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in an opportunity for the locality to evaluate the wild Vietnamese training movement in 2023, thereby laying the foundation for mobilizing people in the district to train, helping this sport to become more popular. The tournament also contributes to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere on the day of liberating Dau Tieng district, awakening the pride and strength of the military and people of Dau Tieng through two heroic resistance battles.

Not only does it call on people to participate in the sports, the locality also hopes that more and more people will join in sports training, continue to respond to the movement of "the whole public exercise to build a healthy body following the example of Great President Ho Chi Minh" to have enough physical and mental strength to build the locality to be increasingly developed.
