Top Vietnamese badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh left Vietnam on December 6 to attend the Hong Kong Super Series 2010.

The series will decide who will attend the Super Series Finals 2010 in Taiwan in January, 2011, so it has attracted the world’s top ten badminton players, including Lee Chong Wei (first world seed), Peter Hoeg Gade (second world seed), Taufik Hidayat (third seed), Lin Dan (fourth seed) and Jin Chen (fifth seed).

 

Tien Minh is seeded eighth in the competition and he should not find it difficult to beat his first opponent at the event.
