(Extract of speech given by Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung at a meeting to commemorate 67th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2nd) August Revolution and birth of Democratic Republic of Vietnam victories of Vietnamese people are thanks to their cleverness, spiritual struggle, and unity as well as to righteous and creative leadership of the Party. Local Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee have appreciated and uphold best devotion of generations of officers, soldiers, civil servants, cadres, and the people of Binh Duong Province to general victory of the province. Appreciation and gratitude are also extended to domestic and foreign entrepreneurs investing into Binh Duong Province to develop production, business, and social welfare. The feats are offered to President Ho Chi Minh, the martyrs, Vietnamese heroic mothers, and veteran revolutionists on the occasion of marking annversary of August Revolution and National Day.The current perspectives of the world, where opposing enemies are increasing peaceful sabotage activities against the Party and State of Vietnam, are complex. As a result, the Party is required to promote self stand of creativity, united tradition, and revolutionary movements to remove obstacles for the success of the resolutions of the 11th tenure Party Congress and of provincial 9th Party Committee Congress.From now to the end of 2012 before hand, all levels of the Party need to grasp up the 5th plenum resolution of the 11th tenure Central Committee of CPV Congress in accordance with plans proposed by the Provincial Party Committee. In the meantime, the 4th plenum resolution of the 11th tenure Central Committee of CPV Congress on “some currrently urgent issues of building the Party” should be seriously launched and broadcast to each officer, Party member, leaders, and key officials in a bid to rennovate the Party organization and enhance responsibilities of organizations and individuals in building a stronghold and effective Party and to implement measures constraining inflation and growth, settling the economy down by removing obstacles in business operations and by mobilising forces of investments into development.For the time to coem, the province should continue to invest into socio-economic infrastructure as planned to create breakthroughs in urban and service development in modern, civilized, and high quality manner; to promote and effectively use investment services; to boost up construction investments into new urban areas of Binh Duong Province in combination with rennovation and upgrade of current urban areas.So as to successfully implement the duties mentioned, all level of the Party and authority are required to rennovate the Party and improve power of organizations under the Party and its members.
