As a remote area, but with the investment of the province, the participation of the entire political system, Dau Tieng District today thrives, urban face is modern, civilized, transport infrastructure is synchronous and connected with neighboring areas, creating a motivation for local socio-economic growth.

The construction of DT744 road is complete, contributing to boosting socio-economic growth of Dau Tieng District.

Sustainable economic development

In the master plan of socio-economic development until 2025, Dau Tieng district ensures sustainable economic growth by prioritizing industrial, trade - service and agriculture development; building synchronous and modern infrastructure associated with the process of urbanization; improve physical, cultural and spiritual life of the people, ensure social security and protect the environment. To achieve the above objective, Dau Tieng district is currently focusing on breakthrough tasks, including to develop high-tech agriculture, urban agriculture, to complete and maintain new rural goals. “Dau Tieng District will develop sustainable urban areas, build synchronous infrastructure, encourage the advantages of the home district, especially focusing on the development of hi-tech agriculture and urban agriculture. The district will plan and develop one to two hi-tech agricultural complexes in Long Hoa and Minh Tan communes”, said Tran Quang Tuyen, Vice Chairman of Dau Tieng District People's Committee.

Also according to Mr. Tuyen, to stimulate local socio-economic development, the district developed 1/500-scale detailed planning schemes of Dau Tieng Town trade, service and urban population center; Residential trade and service center North Dau Tieng and urban area East Dau Tieng. After the projects are approved, they will contribute to investment and construction of projects in Dau Tieng town. In addition, Dau Tieng District also adjusted the general planning of Ben Suc urban area project, with the scale of more than 1,000 ha into the general planning of Thanh Tuyen new urban area of more than 6,222 ha according to the policy of Provincial People's Committee. This adjustment not only matches the development pace of Dau Tieng but also creates more motivation for the district to develop comprehensively.

Synchronous technical infrastructure

Most of transport projects and constructions serving socio-economic development have made good progress. This is the result of agreement among all people strata in the clearance work for projects in the area.

Urban Development Program in Dau Tieng District in period 2016-2019, the district invested more than VND 804 billion in 32 projects. Currently, the progress of key projects has met the set requirements. In which, 7 projects with a total cost of nearly VND 165 billion have been put into use and 5 projects with a total budget of nearly VND 268 billion are being executed. In the 2016-2020 period, the district has also installed 522 new lighting systems on roads with a total cost of over VND 8.6 billion. These civil constructions have helped to improve the city's face and improve people's lives.

“In the coming time, Dau Tieng District will focus on building and upgrading urban centers towards civilization and modernization, carry out the construction of projects according to the approved planning; Focusing on key projects of the district, creating breakthroughs for development goals. A series of projects can be mentioned is the renovation and expansion of road in front of District Party Committee - District People's Committee to Cach Mang Thang 8 Street, Minh Hoa crossroads, the improvement of Long Hoa urban and technical infrastructure, Ben Suc urban area...”, said Mr. Tuyen .

Being invested by the province, especially the investment and construction of DT744 road connecting to Thu Dau Mot City, which not only contributes to changing the urban appearance of Dau Tieng District but also creates motivation for the district's development. Transport infrastructure and urban areas are invested in a synchronous, modern and increasingly completed manner, contributing effectively to the local socio-economic growth, while improving the quality of citizen's lives.

In addition to DT744 arterial road, currently 100% of district-managed roads and nearly 32% of communal-managed roads are asphalted and concreted. Dau Tieng continues to implement the movement of rural road construction in the form of socialization by calling for organizations and people's contributions with the motto "the State and people working together, especially for works that need large capital investment". Currently, in urban development planning and investment in infrastructure construction, Dau Tieng District focuses on promoting resources from all economic sectors to continue developing socio-economic infrastructure.
