To stay focused on warm, safe and saving Tet Holiday 2018

February 6, Provincial People’s Committee organized its regular session for January 2018. Mai Hung Dung, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee and permanent Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Council chaired the session with participation of local deputy chairmen and respresentatives.

According to Provincial People’s Committee, in January, Industrial Index Point (IIP) has increased by 24.2% from the previous term. Total retail sales and service revenue have reached VND 13,817 billion. Exportation revenue was over USD 2.6 billion, importation revenue USD 2.1 billion. By January 15, Binh Duong has attracted VND 2,722 billion of domestic investment and USD 130 million of FDI. Budget collection was estimated at VND 5,000 billion, increasing by 10% year on year and gaining 9.5% of allocation of Provincial People’s Council. Social and cultural aspects have been taken care of. Total payments for Tet Holiday 2018 have been over VND 188 billion from the budget while donation has reached VND 13.6 billion with 7,300 free fares and 9,100 gifts were offered to factory workers during Tet.

In February 2018, Binh Duong continues to strictly implement direction on organization of celebration and anniversaries, Tet Holiday, Party anniversary, springtime celebration, and Lunar January Festival. Mai Hung Dung reminded departments and localities of security, traffic safety, allowances for advantageous subjects during Tet to ensure an enjoyable holiday. Also at the session, Provincial People’s Committee discussed and commented on the draft decision of adjusting K ratio of land price in 2018, procedures of socialization of education, vocational training, healthcare, culture, sports, environment and local judicial authentication and portfolio of socialization in 2018-2020.
