Trade Union of garment-textile industry donates gifts to needy workers

Early October 22, the Trade Union of provincial Textile and Garment Industry organized a conference to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2023); awarded the mementoes for the cause of Trade Union construction and gave gifts for disadvantaged workers.

At the conference, Dang Thi Kim Chi, Chairwoman of provincial Textile and Garment Industry’s Trade Union reviewed the good traditions of Vietnamese and Binh Duong women, especially the work of taking care of female workers of the textile and garment sector in the past period with such significant activities as giving gifts on Tet and great holidays; organizing many activities for female workers.

At the conference, 6 mementoes for the cause of Trade Union construction were awarded to grassroots Trade Union officials who have participated in the Executive Boards of grassroots trade unions for more than 10 years while giving gifts worth VND 10 million in cash for 3 workers with fatal illnesses.
