Twenty-four training courses on sci-tech transfer for farmers in Phu Giao held

Phu Giao district’s Plant Protection Station in the first half of 2016 held 24 training courses on sci-tech transfer for more than 1,200 local farmers and 12 ones on techniques to grow and tend many kinds of plants. Among the 12 training courses, there were 2 on safe vegetable growing under VietGAP standards, 6 on pepper growing and 4 on rubber growing for more than 600 farmers.

The station also organized 12 training courses on ways to prevent pestilent insects in plants for more than 600 farmers; carried out 12 integrated pest management (IPM) points for rubber, pepper, fruit trees and some kinds of short-term trees…
