VND2.9billion disbursed for farmers in Tan Uyen

Tan Uyen town’s Farmers’ Association branch has just coordinated with provincial Farmers’ Association to disburse VND2.9billion in loan from provincial Support Fund for Farmers. Accordingly, the town has a total of 65 households in communes and wards of Uyen Hung, Thai Hoa, Tan Hiep, Thanh Phuoc, Tan Vinh Hiep, Vinh Tan and Phu Chanh getting the loan. Each household is borrowed between VND20million-VND100million within 36 months at the interest rate of 0.5% per month.

Leaders of the town’s Farmers’ Association branch said that the above loan will help the local farmers develop models on growing crops-vegetables, rock melons; tending rubber trees; breeding commercial fish, mother cows…
