Wrong cases in trade on increase at year end

Provincial Market Control sub-Department said that there has been an increase in the number of infringements involved in the production, trade and transport of illegally imported, poor quality goods and trade fraud.

In December, the sub-Department made inspection over 74 cases, discovered 60 wrong ones and there were 3 under investigation. The sector also handled 61 cases with a total fine of more than VND448million; seized goods worth more than VND137million…

In general, the sub-Department in 2016 inspected 1,345 cases, teamed up with relevant agencies to carry out inspection over 1,644 cases with a total fine of more than VND6.5billion and confiscated goods valued at more than VND4.38billion…
