Youth footprints in volunteer summer

Together with young people of the whole country, Youth Union members in Binh Duong province have ebulliently implemented activities in response to the summer youth volunteer campaign 2018. Each unit has motivated the campaign by many significant activities.

Provincial summer youth volunteer campaign 2018 motivated from June 3 to now has upheld the volunteer spirit of young people.

Noticeably, this year’s campaign has set up the 10^th volunteer squad named “Young intellectual force making sci-tech transfer”. With creativeness and renewal, the squad has carried out activities pertaining to sci-tech, creative business startup; organized training courses on sci-tech transfer in remote areas, thereby creating an opportunity for the local youth to uphold the strength of Binh Duong’s youth with creation, volunteer for the community.

Particularly, TDM city’s Youth Union in collaboration with Eastern International University held a contest named “Startup idea battle”. Provincial Youth Union also organized training courses on sci-tech transfer for Youth Union members in the province, aiming to encourage them to apply sci-tech advancements into production-business for better results.

In addition, many Youth Union branches under provincial Youth Union made propaganda work to raise awareness of Youth Union members about the role of creative startup activities, arousing their vanguard spirit in researching and applying active factors from the fourth industrial revolution into studying, working and manufacturing…

Provincial summer youth volunteer campaign 2018 focuses on 6 main tasks, including constructing new rural areas; building civilized urban lifestyle, keeping traffic safety and order; dealing with social welfare issues, activities on “paying debt of gratitude”, environmental protection…

As a result, in the first stage of the campaign, the province’s volunteer squads upgraded, built 30 kilometers of rural roads; constructed 2 civilized urban streets; provided free medical check-up and treatment for 2,500 people; supported 5,120 teenagers and children with VND899million; built 8 charity, gratitude houses and launched 2 “beach cleaning” stages.
