Binh Duong team earns gold medal at National Taekwondo Championship

The 2019 National Taekwondo Championship officially kicked off at Tien Son Sports Palace (Da Nang City). This year's tournament attracted the participation of nearly 300 male and female athletes from 31 delegations from provinces, cities, and industries throughout the country. The athletes competed for 29 medal sets in following contents, including: Individual combating, team combating, standard demonstration, creative demonstration.

At this tournament, Binh Duong delegation had 13 athletes. On the first day of competition (Sep 18), Binh Duong athletes won 1 gold and 1 bronze medal. Specifically, gold medal belonged to Hoang Duc Anh, of 51-kg of men; Bronze medal of Bui Thi Minh, weight 62 kg of female. The tournament will last until Sep 22.
