Leaders of provincial People's Committee pay gift visit to Dien Bien soldiers

Early April 23, provincial delegation, led by Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to soldiers directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and currently residing in Thuan An city. Joining the delegation was Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The delegation visited and offered gifts to Vu Tien Luyen (born in 1934, residing in An Thanh ward) and Tran Thi Dao (born in 1927, residing in Binh Nham ward). On this occasion, the delegation also visited, burned incense and offered gifts to the families of Dao Bach Nien  in Lai Thieu ward, Pham Ba Kien in Binh Hoa ward, Nguyen Van Thong and Le Van Chinh in An Phu ward.

In each visiting place, Mr. Ha and other members of the delegation extended best regards to Dien Bien soldiers and their families; expressed respect and gratitude for the great contributions of Dien Bien soldiers in the resistance war against the French colonialists, contributing to the Dien Bien Phu victory. He wished the Dien Bien soldiers good health, being the spiritual support for their children and grandchildren to follow their ancestors' traditions while promoting the fine tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", keeping the spirit of "Dien Bien soldiers" of the past, further building a more and more civilized, prosperous and beautiful  homeland.

*On the afternoon of the same day, provincial delegation, led by Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Pernament Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to soldiers directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and currently living in Tan Uyen city.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and  offered gifts to the family of Do Thanh Hai, born in 1939, currently residing in Tan Hiep ward’s Ong Dong quarter. In a warm, friendly atmosphere, Mr.Dung and local leaders extended best regards to Do Thanh Hai and his family. Mr.Dung wished the soldier good health, further living happily and healthily, educating his children and grandchildren to promote family traditions and contribute to building a more and more civilized, prosperous and beautiful  locality.

On this occasion, the province's delegation along with leaders of Tan Uyen city, Tan Hiep ward and Ong Dong quarter presented many gifts to the soldier and his family.
