"Peak day of joining hands to build country landscape and environment" launched

On July 21, in Dau Tieng district, the Provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee coordinated with units to launch the "Peak day of joining hands to build landscape and rural environment", "Green Sunday" for the third time in 2024; and visit and give gifts to policy families on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).

At the launching ceremony, grassroots Youth Unions and youth union members carried out many meaningful activities, such as: to award project "Lighting up country roads and security monitoring equipment", implement a movement to reduce plastic waste, flag streets, civilized streets "bright - green - clean - beautiful"; organize training program "One commune, one OCOP product" and digital transformation "Retrieve export growing area codes and domestic growing area codes". The delegation also visited a startup of orchids and bonsai growing of an outstanding young one named Thach Thi Kim Hoa in Dau Tieng district.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Nguyen Huu Loi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation, believes that with good health, youth and enthusiastic volunteer spirit, all levels of Youth Union, Association and union members, children across the province will effectively carry out activities in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and "Green Sunday".

l On the morning of July 20, the Organizing Committee of the project "Mass mobilization work to participate in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle" in Phu Giao district organized a program to respond to "Civilized Saturday" in Vinh Hoa commune.

At the program, the Organizing Committee called on the entire district to actively implement "Civilized Saturday" and gave 30 gifts to policy households, war invalids, and martyrs. In addition, branches and organizations of districts, communes and towns introduced volunteer teams to encourage people to build a cultural and civilized lifestyle. On this occasion, district departments presented waste classification bins, project "Model lodging houses for young workers" and project "Outdoor sports training area for workers" to Vinh Hoa commune.

After the launching program, the District Project Organizing Committee divided teams to clear, plant, and care for flowers on roads; inaugurated project "Street of national flags and propaganda panels"; launched a model boarding house; explained how to classify waste and attach construction signs to outdoor exercise and sports areas for workers; launched "Model Hamlet Office"; installed "Security Light" project sign...
