124 outstanding HCMYPO members honored

Thuan An town’s Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization (HCMYPO), on July 2, held its 22^nd congress of Uncle Ho’s obedient children.

Over the past two years, the town’s HCMYPO made efforts in training children’s morality and personality through programs in association with five Uncle Ho’s teachings, namely “National Mang Non (Young Shoot)-following the footsteps of the elders”, “Training knowledge for sustainable future”…There were also more than 15,000 children admitted into the HCMYPO and 3,980 HCMYPO members admitted into the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

At the congress, the town’s People’s Committee honored 124 children winning the “Uncle Ho’s obedient children” title and 49 outstanding teachers in charge of the HCMYPO. The town’s HCMYPO awarded “Ho Van Men-Lighting dreams” scholarships to 20 outstanding HCMYPO members. On this occasion, the town’s Youth Union also donated a playground work for children worth VND50million to An Phu ward…
