As many as 20 elite youths of Binh Duong province on Aug. 20 will join in the Vietnam-China Youth Festival at ethnic Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangxi province on Aug. 25-29. The provincial delegation along with 3,000 other youths, representing 63 provinces and cities nationwide will participate in the festival.  With the theme of “China-Vietnam Friendship”, the festival will consist of contents of friendship forum, exchange night and so on.

The event will take place on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations.

The 1st friendship festival for young people from Vietnam and China was held at China in 2000. Thenceforth, the festival has been held in turn between Vietnam and China each year. This year’s festival is a large-scale event with the participation of 32,000 officials, guests, reporters and youths of the 2 nations.
