200 Tet gifts donated to AO victims

Late February 8, provincial Department of Foreign Affairs presided over a ceremony to present Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each, including cash and foodstuff, to 50 Agent Orange (AO) victims with difficult circumstances in TDM city. All the gifts were funded by Taiwanese Tzu Chi Charity Society

The organizers also donated 60 gifts to AO victims in Di An and Thuan An towns. It is known that on the occasion of the 2015 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, Taiwanese Tzu Chi Charity Society will give 200 gifts worth VND500,000 each for needy AO victims in TDM city, Di An, Thuan An, Ben Cat towns, Phu Giao and Dau Tieng districts, helping them enjoy a joyful and warm Tet.

*On the occasion of the 2015 Tet festival, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disable People, Orphans and Poor Patients in collaboration with the People’s Committee of An Binh commune in Phu Giao district has just donated 100 gifts worth VND350,000 each, including seasoning powder, confectionary, cooking oil, fish sauce, instant noodle and some other necessaries, to the poor.

It is known that the above gifts are worth VND35mln, funded by provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board.
