2011 Int’l Women’s Cycling Tournament: Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment ranks 2nd in team ranking

 The 2011 International Women’s Cycling Tournament for the An Giang Television Cup ended on July 16 after the first stage from Kien Giang’s Rach Gia and An Giang’s Long Xuyen with a total length of 75km.

 

 South Korea’s Kim You Ri defeated An Giang Plant Protection’s Pham Thi Liem and Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment’s Nguyen Thuy Dung to take first place at the final stage of the tournament. South Korea also took lead in the team ranking, followed by An Giang Plant Protection and Domesco Dong Thap.

 With the above results, South Korea excellently won the team title in the overall ranking table, followed by Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment and An Giang Plant Protection.

 In the individual rankings, An Giang Plant Protection’s Phan Thi Thuy Trang ranked first, followed by South Korea’s Choi Hye Keong and Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment’s Nguyen Phan Ngoc Trang.

 South Korea’s Jou Jina won the green jersey with 81 points. Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment’s Nguyen Thuy Dung was the runner-up with 69 points.

 It is known that this year’s tournament with 7 stages over southeastern and Mekong Delta provinces absorbed 67 athletes from 11 female cycling teams nationwide and 2 guest teams from South Korea and Malaysia.
