The provincial department of Education and Training yesterday held the 2012 festive day for university admission consultancy at the Eastern International University with the participation of the provincial universities including Eastern International University, Thu Dau Mot, Binh Duong Technology and Economics. This is the first time the province holds a university admission consultancy for local universities.     Students raise questions for consultants.

Full of information on local universities

Dang Thanh Sang, vice director of the provincial department of Education and Training, shared “We hope to offer adequately information on 2012 university admission, especially advantages of local universities. Local students will enjoy training majors, quotas and scales as well as scholarships, job opportunities and so on of every local university. It is hoped that they will base on their circumstance, ability to choose the most suitable majors”. 

Ph.D Nguyen Van Phuc, headmaster of the Eastern International University said that the university has had preferential policies for students. All students enjoy a 30% assistance on English tuition, dormitory areas with conveniences and preferential prices as well as pick-up service…

Meanwhile, Doctor Hoang Trong Quyen, head of Thu Dau Mot University’s training department, said “Thu Dau Mot University is a key public university in the province. The university has offered good learning, research conditions and advanced syllabi. 98% of students enjoy jobs after graduation”.

Meanwhile, Binh Duong University of Technology and Economics has trained multi-majors with experienced teaching staff and advanced material facilities.

Students pay attention to local universities

The festive day lured the participation of over 2,000 students across province. Anh Dung, a student from Nguyen Hue high school in Phu Giao district, said “Thanks to the festive day, we enjoy exact information on local universities to set out a right choice for our future”.

Teacher Hoang Trong Quyen added “I’m very moved when many students know about training majors of many local universities. This shows that local universities create an attraction for them”.

At the festive day, students raised many questions relating to training majors, scholarships, job opportunities and so on.
