2023 provincial workers ‘singing contest, ideal rendezvous after work

A ceremony to open the 2023 provincial worker ‘singing contest took place at provincial Center for Labor Culture on the evening of July 16. With the theme of "A rendezvous after work", the contest attracted a large number of workers in the province with many attractive colors.

Every July occasion, employees nationwide in general and Binh Duong in particular enthusiastically participate in emulation movements to set up achievements to celebrate the founding of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28), with many forms and practical activities. Particularly, cultural, artistic and sports movements to improve cultural and spiritual lives are welcomed by a large number of workers.

Joining in that exciting atmosphere, the 2023 provincial worker’singing contest attracted nearly 400 items from more than 200 trade union locals at all levels. After the opening ceremony, a large number of the audience, including employees, had the opportunity to enjoy 20 items performed by the following units: Minh Long 2 Technical Porcelain Co., Ltd., Rochdale Spears Co., Ltd., Yazaki Co., Ltd., Virtue King VN Co., Ltd., Kim Xuong VN Shoes Co., Ltd., Framas VN Co., Ltd., Poonhkook Saigon II Co., Ltd., Triumph International (VN) Co., Ltd., Wonderful Saigon Electric Co., Ltd., Nam Kim Steel Joint Stock Company, Technical Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company.

With a passion for music, employees of the units performed together in various types: solo, duet (triple singing), group singing, bringing the audience many unique and attractive items in praise of the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland, the people of Vietnam, love of comrades, colleagues, friends, couples, families...

With the theme of "A rendezvous after work", the contest has become a fun, healthy, useful and practical weekend playground; is the ideal rendezvous for trade unionists and employees in the province after a week of work. Since then, trade union locals has more conditions to motivate, encourage morale, create trust as well as the cohesion between trade unionists, employees and trade union organizations; create enthusiasm in production and life. This playground also creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2023), especially welcome the Trade Union Congress at all levels towards the 11^th provincial Trade Union congress and the 13^th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union for the 2023-2028 tenure.

According to Luu The Thuan, Head of the Department of Propaganda, Education - Women's Affairs under provincial Labor Union, cum Director of provincial Labor Culture Center, along with the workers ‘singing contest, from July 9, the 2023 provincial badminton - table tennis tournament for employees was kicked off with the participation of nearly 1,500 athletes from more than 400 trade union locals at provincial Labor Culture Center. These activities were assigned by provincial Labor Union Standing Committee to provincial Labor Culture Center with the goal of creating a weekend playground for employees throughout the period from now until October 2023. It is hoped that these will be the annual traditional activities for the local trade unionists and employees and provincial Labor Culture Center will be the place to build the movement, creating the nucleus of culture, art, and sports at the grassroots.
