35 young pioneer chiefs honored

Secretary of the HCMC Youth Union presents a flag to

Binh Phuoc provincial Youth Union.

A ceremony to honor 35 young pioneer chiefs of the Southeastern region took place at the provincial Cultural Center on Nov. 26. This is one of main activities of the 2nd Southeastern Young Pioneer Chiefs Festival 2010. At the ceremony, Phan Van Mai, secretary of Central Youth Union highly valued the region’s activities for young pioneers and hoping that the young pioneer chiefs would uphold ability to develop movements for children.

On the occasion, the organizing board granted a saving book worth VND20mil to valiant Ho Van Men’s relatives and introduced the biggest-ever red tie. The red tie has been kept at the provincial Youth Union’s traditional room.

In addition, the organizing board presented a host flag for Binh Phuoc provincial Youth Union which will host the 3rd Southeastern Young Pioneer Chiefs Festival 2012.
