37 scientific topics and projects accepted

On Jan. 16, the provincial department of Science and Technology held a summing up conference on its work in the past year with the participation of Vo Van Minh, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Vu Van Khiem, head of the Southern affair bureau under the Ministry of Science and Technology and along with reps of leaders of departments, agencies and localities.

In 2014, the provincial department of Science and Technology inspected 37 science and technology topics and projects, handed over 25 topics and projects for units. Besides, the provincial department of Science and Technology in cooperation with units supported more than VND158mil for 61 organizations and individuals involving in invention and intellectual property.

The provincial department of Science and Technology guided and received 56 files of 31 enterprises and counseled 11 enterprises to announce regulations of goods launching on the market.

In 2015, the provincial department of Science and Technology continues to map out supportive policies for projects and plans, launch agricultural programs and enterprise support programs to invest in operation of science and technology.

At the conference, 3 collectives and 2 units were awarded merit certificates by the provincial People’s Committee. The provincial department of Science and Technology also offered merit certificates to 35 individuals and 6 collectives for their excellent achievements in launching science and technology.
