3rd Congress of Resistance Tradition Club of Central Southern Department’s Organization Commission held

On the afternoon of October 12, the Resistance Tradition Club of the Organization Commission of the Central Southern Department held its 3rd Congress for the 2023-2028 tenure at provincial Political School, in attendance of Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission and more than 100 members of the club.

The club is now home to 245 members, living in 14 provinces and cities nationwide. Over the past time, the club paid great attention to the work of "paying debt of gratitude", regularly visiting and encouraging members with difficult circumstances, illness, etc. Especially, members of the club actively participated in the local movements and tasks; educated their children and grandchildren to live exemplarily... The congress also elected the Executive Board of the club for the 2023-2028 tenure with 5 comrades. Do Thi Kim An was elected as Chairwoman of the Club.

Speaking at the congress, Mrs. Thuy respectfully acknowledged achievements done by of the club over the past time. She also wanted that the club will continue maintaining and upholding its heroic tradition and its members will further contribute their efforts to political and social activities in localities where they reside to be worthy of being shining examples of the revolutionary spirit for younger generations to follow.

On the occasion, members of the club also had an opportunity to visit and learn about the historical relic site of Vinh Loi War Zone in Tan Uyen city.
