4th provincial food festival 2022: Promising many interesting things

After a one-year pause, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year, the 4th provincial food festival 2022 will be held again. According to the evaluation of the Organizing Board, this year's festival has a larger scale than the previous ones, promising to bring people and visitors many interesting things about the culinary culture of Binh Duong province in particular as well as provinces in the region in general.

All are ready

The 4th provincial food festival 2022 will take place within 4 days (from December 15 to 18) at Thu Dau Mot park in Thu Dau Mot city’s Hiep Thanh ward. According to the Organizing Board, the organization of the festival aims at further maintaining and developing new and attractive tourism products, serving people and tourists in and out of the province while strengthening the introduction and promotion of images of the land and people of Binh Duong to people and tourists near and far, thereby contributing to preserving and developing the culinary and cultural values ​​in Binh Duong in particular and Vietnamese cuisine in general.

The third provincial food festival 2020 attracts a large number of people and tourists

To prepare for this festival, a few months ago, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism set up an organization plan and sent registration forms to organizations and individuals with demand in and out of the province to invite them to participate in the festival. Provincial Tourism Promotion Center is the unit assigned to be the standing agency of the Organizing Board of the festival. Pham Hong Thi, Deputy Director of provincial Tourism Promotion Center said that the center has sent plans, rules and registration forms to participate in the festival to units and individuals in the province. Through the center, the province has also invited more units in other localities to participate in this year's festival, creating plenty and diversity in cuisine as well as providing more information and tourism products to serve residents and visitors. Therefore, this year's festival has attracted the attention and registration of many units and individuals in and out of the province.

“As of now, 65 booths of 40 units and individuals have registered to participate in the festival. Compared to the previous festivals, this year's festival has a larger scale with the number of units and individuals registering for participation and the number of booths increasing a lot. In addition to units and individuals in the province, this year's festival also has the participation of culinary business units and individuals from provinces and cities, namely Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Soc Trang... Each province and city has its own delicious dishes and culinary characteristics, which will contribute to the plenty and diversity of culinary culture to serve people and tourists ‘demand during this festival", Mr. Thi said.

At present, all basic preparations for the festival have been completed. At 15:00 on December 13, the Organizing Board of the festival will hand over booths to the units and individuals who have registered to participate so that they can decorate their own booths in accordance with the features of each locality or unit.

Promising interesting things

According to Mr. Thi, coming to Binh Duong today, visitors will have the opportunity to visit landscapes, amusement and entertainment areas, visit model industrial zones and compounds or immerse themselves in experience at traditional craft villages. And, a special thing that visitors cannot ignore that is to enjoy Binh Duong cuisine. As the "land of convergence", Binh Duong cuisine also has many diverse, rich and unique dishes. Especially, there are many delicious dishes and culinary specialties of Binh Duong that will be introduced and served to visitors during this festival. Along with the participation in introducing the cuisine of the provinces and cities, the 4th provincial food festival 2022 promises to bring people and visitors many unique dishes of the Southern region.

In addition to enjoying the culinary dishes of Binh Duong as well as other provinces in the region, people and visitors to this year's festival can also participate in many other funny and exciting activities. The Organizing Board of this year's festival has had many booths for units and individuals trading in local products, handicraft products, OCOP products, etc. During the festival, there is a lively art show served free of charge every night. The Organizing Board also organizes a contest "Beautiful booths" with attractive prizes to be given to the booths participating in the festival with beautiful designs.

In the joyful atmosphere to welcome the coming New Year 2023, the 4th provincial food festival 2022 is an exciting cultural activity, serving the entertainment needs of people in the province and tourists near and far. Hundreds of delicious dishes, sweet fruits, specialties of Binh Duong and other provinces and cities in the region will converge during the 4-day festival, promising to bring people and visitors lots of interesting experience and feelings.
