6th congress of Binh Duong provincial Youth Union opened

Members of the provincial Youth Union for the term of 2014-2019 show up deputies. 

On Oct. 26, Binh Duong provincial Youth Union solemnly held its 6^th congress for the term of 2014-2019 at the provincial Center for Convention and Exhibition. Attending the congress were Nguyen Anh Tuan, secretary of the central Youth Union, Nguyen Huu Tu, vice secretary of the provincial party committee, Tran Van Nam, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Thanh Liem, head of the provincial Mass Mobilization and leaders of departments, agencies and 250 deputies. 

In the past term, the work on youth movement basically completed the set goals, attracting the participation of numerous youths. Mobilizations and programs of the union met youths’ aspiration. Many projects and works were effectively launched to members such as the projects of gathering young workers, IT, charity house and more, luring care and believe of youths for the union. Voluntary programs for social welfare are improve in quality, promote intellectual, capacity of youths. Besides, youth movements create many creative breakthroughs on areas.  

In the 2014-2019 term, the provincial Youth Union will focus on implementing the movement of “I love Vietnam” and measures to reinforce and develop the union organization, expand solidarity front and youth gathering.  

Accordingly, the key program lies in building and developing the organization at non-state enterprises and programs of promoting youths’ role in local socio-economic development and social order security.  

The congress selected the VI term provincial Youth Union Committee with the participation of 45 members. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, secretary of the provincial Youth Union is elected the position of chairwoman of the provincial Youth Union for the term of 2014-2019. The congress participants also introduced 10 deputies to attend the national Youth Union Congress.  

Addressing the congress, Nguyen Anh Tuan, secretary of the central Youth Union, Nguyen Huu Tu, vice secretary of the provincial party committee applauded results done by the provincial youth union and simultaneously asked the union to strengthen youth solidarity and gathering; well implement Resolution of the 7^th session of the central party committee (term X) on strengthening the Party’s leadership for youth work in the industrialization and modernization process; spur the movement of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples and more.
