Early August, 23, at Ba Lua Parish in Phu Tho Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, the Catholic unity board of the province hedl a conference summing up its activities in the 6th tenure from 2007 to 2013 and discussing plan for the 7th tenure from 2013 to 2018. Mr. Pham Van Canh, Member of Provincial Party Committee Standing Front, Chair of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended the conference.As reported by the board, in the tenure, catholic religious activities have been in line with movements proposed by the board. In the tenure, the donation of catholic community in the province has reached over VND 37.803 billion to charity drives. Addressing the conference, Mr. Pham Van Canh highly apprecaiated such donation and wished that the religious community should promote its tradition and contribute more to the industrialization and modenization of Binh Duong Province.
