9 units capable of RT-PCR confirmatory testing announced

On December 8, provincial Department of Health announced the list of 9 units that are capable of testing to confirm the SARS-CoV-2 virus by Realtime RT-PCR technique.

They include provincial Center for Disease Control (No. 209 Yersin, Phu Cuong ward, Thu Dau Mot city), provincial General Hospital (No. 5 Pham Ngoc Thach street, Hiep Thanh ward, Thu Dau Mot city), My Phuoc General Hospital (TC 3 Street, My Phuoc ward, Ben Cat town), Becamex General Hospital (Go Cat Area, Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An city), Van Phuc General Hospital 1 (No. 45 Ho Van Cong street, Tuong Binh Hiep ward, Thu Dau Mot city), Thuan An Medical Center (Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An city), Hanh Phuc International Hospital ( No. 18 National Highway 13, Vinh Phu ward, Thuan An city), Medilab Laboratory (Thu Dau Mot city), VINTOSAN Laboratory (No. 440 Vo Thi Sau street, group 1, Khanh Long quarter, Tan Phuoc Khanh ward, Tan Uyen town).

The above facilities have been appraised and recognized by Ho Chi Minh city-based Pasteur Institute as the units having the capacity to test for confirmation of SARS-CoV-2 virus by Realtime RT- PCR technique.
