Marking the 36th anniversary of the Southern Liberation Day and National Unification (April 30, 1975 - 2011) and May Day and responding the 13th NA and People’s Council elections for the 2011-2016 term, the province has held numerous significant and lively activities.

 

Culture-art activities on April 30 and May Day will bring lively ambience for audiences.

From April 26-29, the provincial Culture Center has held a mobile promulgation contest for 13 units from 7 districts, townships and 6 communes, wards across province. Right from the end of March, 2011, localities held a mobile promulgation contest for grassroot levels with the theme of the 13th NA and People’s Council elections for the 2011-2016 term.

Bui Van Van, vice head of Thuan An town Culture Center’s Information-Culture department, said the center would hold a contest on revolutionary songs at Thuan Giao ward on April 27-28 whilst Thu Dau Mot town Culture-Sports Center would a music show at Hoa Phu ward on April 29.

Also the occasion, Binh Duong University for Technology and Economics will hold a culture, sport contest for community colleges on April 28-29.

Besides, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station in cooperation with Becamex IDC will hold a music show themed Young city Melody with the performance of famous singers from the HCMC such as Dong Dao, Vu Bao, Phan Nhu Quynh, Quang Vinh… at My Phuoc theatre on April 30.

Meanwhile, a music show to celebrate the 13th NA and People’s Council elections for the 2011-2016 term will take place at Phu Cuong ward People’s Committee on April 30 evening. The program will be held by the provincial Culture Center.
