The TBC-Ball Beverage Can Viet Nam Co.Ltd. last weekend put its US$50mln- aluminium can factory into operation in the Tan Uyen district-based VSIP II (photo).

The factory covers 8 hectares with an annual production capacity of 850 mln beverage cans. 

On this occasion, leaders of the factory also donated VND400mln to provincial Fund for the Poor and Fund for Poor Children.

*Prior to that, Fujikura Fiber Optics Vietnam Co.Ltd. also inaugurated its second factory in the VSIP I. The one hectare expansion of the company was kicked-off since the success of its first factory in VSIP I from 2001.

This second project will continue its manufacture specialised in fiber optic components used in telecommunication and data communication systems with the high technology transferred from Fujikura Group in Japan and globally.
