Agreement on information cooperation inked

A signing ceremony about information cooperation between provincial People’s Committee and the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) for the period of 2017-2022 was organized at provincial Integrated Administration Center on the morning of June 7. Attending the event were Nguyen Duc Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of the VNA; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of relevant departments, sectors and units under the VNA.

Accordingly, the two sides will jointly make dissemination of information about the results of implementation of the Resolution of the 10^th provincial Party Congress, the local socio-economic achievements, especially bright spots on poverty reduction, hi-tech agricultural development, FDI attraction, social welfare towards a smart city…

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Liem emphasized that the province’s considerable achievements over the past time were actively contributed by press agencies, including the VNA. The cooperation program will create favorable conditions for the province to disseminate its policies, socio-economic achievements, special cultural values among people from all strata and the business community. This will also help the province reach proper orientations in socio-economic development.

For the cooperation program implemented effectively, he also asked for provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Education-Propaganda, Department of Information-Communications together with relevant agencies to be proactive to coordinate with the VNA, creating advantageous conditions for the VNA’s correspondents to boost their task popularizing the local potentials, traditional beauty, cultural values as well as calling for investment in the fields of tourism, services…
