With the opening, AIA Vietnam’s network has covered over 80 rep offices, branches and general agency offices across 50 cities and provinces nationwide.

“The general agency offices are one of the crucial links helping AIA Vietnam bring timely and efficient services to customers and agents in Binh Duong”, AIA Vietnam’s CEO Stephen Clark said at the opening ceremony on Dec. 21.

AIA Vietnam is a foreign life insurance company. AIA has operated in Vietnam since Feb. 2000 with 500 employees and over 18,000 agents. As of Sept., 2012, AIA Vietnam paid expenses for over 162,000 cases with the total value of VND1,100bil.

On this occasion, AIA Vietnam in cooperation with the provincial Sponsor Fund for Children granted 30 scholarships worth VND30 million to help needy and studious pupils.
