Be dedicated and close to the people
Recently, Le Thi Hoa has been busy with road construction at her hamlet. Đứng trên con đường TĐ50 đang làm dở, bà Hoa nói: "We previously mobilized people’s donations and completed a half of this road, but we want to make it easier for people to travel, we have mobilized people to continue donating land to do the rest of the road."
Loan said: “In the past, land price was cheap, but now a land is a great asset, and obviously donating land is not an easy decision. Moreover, cutting off a part of their land inherited from their ancestors is also a concern of many people here. However, to make local folks aware that donating land to build a new advanced rural area is for the community and for their family, I always take the motto "people discuss, people do and people benefit" to persuade people, only then will the people trust and agree with the plan. Many locals in the hamlet are ready to cut down trees, give up lands, demolish private construction works to make public roads."
With a high sense of responsibility and a dedicated attitude for work, from 2014 to now, Hoa has encouraged people in the hamlet to raise funds for upgrading roads in the hamlet; repairing and upgrading the hamlet’s administration office; planting flowers along roads... with a total cost of more than VND2 billion. Currently, most roads of the hamlet are upgraded and equipped with lighting system; 100% of households have hygienic water for daily use, over 98% of households participate in environmental hygiene protection, ensuring a green - clean - beautiful environment. Ba Da hamlet has attained the title of cultural hamlet in many years.
A charming mediator
Before her retirement, Le Thi Hoa used to work at Nha Nai Rubber Farm for 26 years. Since 2014, she has been trusted by the people and Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dinh commune, assigned to be the head of Fatherland Front Work Board in Ba Da hamlet. In her position, Hoa actively propagates and mobilizes the people to well abide by guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, and coordination programs of the commune Fatherland Front.
Vu Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dinh Commune, said: “When it comes to Le Thi Hoa, everyone compliments her, she is an exemplary Fatherland Front officer, wholehearted to her work and to the people. At Fatherland Front Committee conferences in the commune, she often gives practical and responsible ideas and suggestions with the desire to mobilize the whole people to do well the studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle associated with doing well the front works in residential areas.
In the role of Secretary of the Party cell, Head of the Hamlet Front Work Board, Le Thi Hoa regularly gives opinions to the Party cell, coordinates with member organizations of the Fatherland Front, promptly resolves pressing concerns, conflicts in the community, prevents complicated problems. Hoa always upholds a sense of responsibility, solidarity, advocates democratic discussion in the process of task performance."
Le Thi Hoa directly and successfully mediated many local cases. With her dedication and enthusiasm for her work, along with her practical experience, legal knowledge and the ability to persuade people understandably and rationally, she promptly reconciled conflicts arising in local residential community.
According to Hoa, reconciliation requires patience and enthusiasm, the ability to talk with many people, so that different sides can listen, understand, and gradually resolve the conflict. No matter how hard it is or takes a lot of time and effort, but in return, she has the joy of being able to resolve disagreements between people, and gains the trust and love of people in the hamlet.
With her own efforts at work, Le Thi Hoa was commended and rewarded by the province and the district’s Fatherland Front Committee; received a certificate of merit by People's Committee of North Tan Uyen district for outstanding performance in fatherland front work.
