Application of information technologies promoted in direction and operations

In the first 6 months of 2023, the Department of Information and Communications advised the provincial People's Committee to direct departments, agencies and units in the province to promote the application of information technologies in the direction, administration and administrative reforms of the units.

Of the promotion, departments, agencies, agencies and units focus on raising awareness about digital transformation, digital data development, digital government, digital infrastructure, digital economy, digital society; consolidating the Steering Committee for digital transformation and information technology application for the construction of Binh Duong smart city, database connection at the Smart Operations Monitoring Center of the province, establishment of Smart Control Centers of districts, towns and cities, completion of the piloting of an information system to settle administrative procedures and provision of online public services.

In order to meet the needs of developing information technology human resources for agencies and units in the province, the Department of Information and Communications has organized a professional class for online bidding, 2 training courses fostering information technology knowledge for cadres and civil servants in Phu Giao district, 1 training course and instructions on the use of digital signatures and specialized digital certificates for State agencies in the province in 2023.
